This looks different for every student and is guided by their own life journey. MEET BRIANNA N. BENNETT, MPA

​INDEPENDENT ​COLLEGE AND CAREER CONSULTANT
Brianna N. Bennett has a passion for helping students to climb to success and many years of experience consulting with high school and college students. Brianna has worked in the field of public education for the past 9 years, mainly with K-12 public charter schools. She was a College Advisor for four years with ScholarMatch. She has mentored college students as an Alumni Mentor with the San Diego State University (SDSU) Aztec Mentorship and HB KEEP Programs. Additionally, she serves as a Co-Vice-President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) on the SDSU Alumni Board of Advisors and represents over 400,000 SDSU alumni throughout the country. 

Brianna is also involved with several civil rights organizations throughout the nation. She is a member of the 2020 Los Angeles Anti-Defamation League Glass Leadership Institute class. Additionally, she has served as the Co-Chair for the NextGen Committee of the Los Angeles Anti-Defamation League and Youth and Civic Engagement Subcommittee Chair with the National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP) and is a Past President of the Los Angeles Urban League Young Professionals (LAULYP). In her role as the Youth and Civic Subcommittee Chair, she creates civic engagement curriculum for K-12 and college students. She also works closely with Historical Black College and University (HBCU) students.

Brianna holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Media Studies from San Diego State University and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a specialization in Public Policy and Management from CSU Northridge. Recently, she completed a Certificate in College Admissions and Career Planning from U.C.Berkeley. She is also an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consulting Association (IECA).​
