MEET BRIANNA N.B. PETERS, MPA

​INDEPENDENT ​COLLEGE AND CAREER CONSULTANT

Brianna N.B Peters has worked in the field of public education for over the past 13 years, mainly with K-12 charter schools, in the areas of student data management, educational public policy, and college and career consulting. She owns her own Independent Educational Consulting company called Climbing to Success College and Career Consulting. Additionally, she works as a College Advisor with West Angeles Educational Enrichment Program (West Angeles EEP).  She is an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultant Association (IECA). She also serves as the Immediate Past President of the San Diego State University (SDSU) Alumni Board of Advisors

Brianna is also involved with several civil rights organizations throughout the nation. She is a member of the 2020 Los Angeles Anti-Defamation League Glass Leadership Institute class. Additionally, she has served as the Co-Chair for the NextGen Committee of the Los Angeles Anti-Defamation League and Youth and Civic Engagement Subcommittee Chair with the National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP) and is a Past President of the Los Angeles Urban League Young Professionals (LAULYP). In her role as the Youth and Civic Subcommittee Chair, she created civic engagement curriculum for K-12 and college students. She also worked closely with Historical Black College and University (HBCU) students.

Brianna holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Media Studies from San Diego State University and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a specialization in Public Policy and Management from CSU Northridge. Recently, she completed a Certificate in College Admissions and Career Planning from U.C.Berkeley. She is also an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consulting Association (IECA).​
